HaLO is a result of many years of emergency egress experience by AeroGlow. It was designed to be specific to purpose by escape subject matter experts; HaLO is not general purpose lighting, nor any derivation of it. Its specification stems from practical trialing of a multitude of lighting technologies, including live underwater escape trials and laboratory testing.
HaLO has been subjected to extensive testing including extreme environmental and shock. All of the comprising HaLO components are qualified to IED representative forces: forces in excess of 1000g, whereby the system will activate, remain attached, and will remain functional during and following an event. HaLO development has also included extensive ʻfalse alarm trialsʼ to ensure the lights do not activate inadvertently.
