Locate your airstrip or helipad easily. Manufactured from tough polypropylene, our Runway and Helipad Markers use the latest retro- reflective material to ensure maximum visibility from a wide variety of approach angles. Specialist colours give excellent daytime visibility while the retro-reflective surface is illuminated by the aircraft’s landing lights during low light and night operations. Due to their design, a helipad or airstrip’s visibility using these markers is greatly increased. This reduces pilot stress and increases safety. Very light and easy to transport, typically an AeroCone will weigh less than 1 kilogram and can be put together in approximately 30 seconds. On grass they can be screwed into the ground using ground anchors, whilst with concrete or asphalt, they can be bolted down. Alternatively they can also be weighted down with sand or stones to keep them stable. Our Runway and Helipad Markers are ideal for all situations where an electrical system is not practical or possible. We currently supply markers in yellow-green, blue, silver (which glows white) and red, depending on customer requirements. We also produce Military versions which are Night Vision Goggle (NVG) compatible.
